Dubai Property Show is all set to mark its footprint in the city of Mumbai in India, with the Dubai Land Department (DLD) as the official sponsor.
The show, which made a successful impression in London earlier this year, will now be heading to Mumbai from November 6-8 and will be held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre. Organised by Sumansa Exhibitions, it will exhibit Dubai’s lucrative real estate investment opportunities to Indians and has already garnered massive interest among the country’s business and financial circles. With around 5,000 serious buyers and over 35 world-class developers from the UAE, the occasion will provide tremendous exposure to property investors as well as individuals.
Sultan Butti bin Mejren, director general of the DLD, said: “India is an enormous economic and demographic power at the global level, experiencing high growth rates that contribute to the rise of the middle income group in the community. This means a greater search by such emerging groups for nearby investment destinations. In the meantime, India and the UAE enjoy historical trade relations, and periodic reports issued by the Dubai Land Department indicate that the Dubai property market is of high appeal among Indian investors who always top the foreign property investors list in the Dubai market, in terms of the number of transactions and the gross total value.”
Dubai Land Department is the official sponsor for the event; and other participants include Emaar, Nakheel, Dubai Properties, Deeyar, Falcon City of Wonders, Al Hamra Real Estate Development, Select Group, Tebyan, MeydanSobha, Damac Properties, Jumeirah Golf Estates, Dubai Sports City, Kleindienst Group, Tamleek Property Transfer and many more.
Sultan Al Suwaidi, partner at Sumansa Exhibitions, said: “Dubai, the land of opportunities, has always been open to foreign investment, and has been actively providing avenues for both foreigners and expats to avail such prospects. The property show in London saw fantastic sales figures, which should give an idea of how popular Dubai real estate is abroad.”
